Actiu arrives at Hábitat Fair with a stand dedicated to showcasing friendly industry

Actiu’s products demonstrate how industry and design can work together, to create environments that generate well-being.

Actiu can be visited at Stand B-19 in Pavilion N3-P1: a unique 120 square metre space designed by Odosdesign.

Actiu is hosting a round table event at Ágora NUDE on October 3rd, where the topic “Design Meets Industry; Neuro & Microarchitecture,” will be debated (13.00h)

Castalla (Alicante), 23rd September 2024.- Actiu, a specialist in the design and manufacture of furniture for corporate and contract spaces, are creating a stand for the Hábitat Fair, (held September 30th to October 3rd) which will revolve around the philosophy that the company’s production processes are based around—design and industry coming together to create sustainable spaces, that are not only friendly, but also life-friendly and where people can be the best version of themselves.

The Actiu stand, designed by Odosdesign, can be found at Stand B-19 in Pavilion N3-P1. In an area of 120 square metres, the company will demonstrate how their new collections that make up its catalogue, can be incredibly versatile and able to equip environments of all kinds: receptions, lobbies, meeting rooms, third spaces, work areas, socialising areas, work laboratories and outdoor spaces to name but a few.

The space will convey the Mediterranean essence of Actiu and demonstrate the flexible and multipurpose spaces that can be created with the solutions offered by the company. Actiu’s products are designed around the needs of people, sustainable production processes, as well as thoughtful design and innovation.

Collections such as the Meetia armchair by Ramón Esteve, the Dorik table by Odosdesign, the Globb armchair by Stone Design and Owwi by Arnau Reyna, are combined with other types of products such as Qyos acoustic booths, Cuic armchairs and Eidos tables, to create distinct zones that include reception areas, meeting and collaboration spaces, teamwork areas; all of which generate differentiated ambiences.

An immersive, experiential room has also been created. It simulates the interior of Actiu’s production halls and further bolsters the “Design meets industry” concept. This alludes to the co-creation processes necessary between designers and manufacturers, to achieve products that improve spaces and ultimately, spaces that improve life.

Actiu has collaborated in organising a round table centred around the topic “Design to care and excite.” The “Women in Office Design” collective, will also assemble on Thursday 3rd October at 12.00h, in the Ágora NUDE at Hábitat. Actiu’s Brand Reputation director and advisor, Soledat Berbegal, will also moderate the round table “Design Meets Industry; Neuro & Microarchitecture”, on the same day at 13.00h in the Ágora NUDE.

Taking part in the debate will be the architect and founder of Room 2030, Sergio Baragaño, the director of the Office and Education team at Erre Arquitectura, Jesús Bivià Roig, the lecturer at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Susana Iñarra Abad and the project director of EMBT Architects, Valencina Norris.

“Open and communal spaces are generating a need for private spaces. It is on this path where microarchitectures are revealed as sustainable, modular, economically viable and energy efficient solutions in all types of spaces. Understanding the new modular solutions on the market, from acoustic cabins to prefabricated houses, is part of the common thread of this conference in which designers and industrialists, as well as experts in neuroarchitecture, are taking part,” says Soledat Berbegal.
