Objekto, 20 years of creation

In 2024, Objekto celebrates its twentieth anniversary. Although it is one of the leading French manufacturers that has shaken up the world of creation, this manufacturer has remained unwaveringly faithful to its original intentions: selecting and manufacturing objects from creators and not designers. Objects that possess an added emotional value, made to withstand the passage of time and the fickleness of fashio

In twenty years, Objekto has formed a collection of truly timeless pieces. This alone demonstrates the relevance of the decisions collectively made by the brand’s three founders: Guillaume Leman, Benoît Halbronn, and his brother, Matthieu Halbronn.

These “object hunters” continue to travel the four corners of the world in search of exceptional discoveries, but also deepening the relationships established with the creators who contributed to their international success.

Today, distributed through a network of more than 200 stores worldwide, Objekto generates 60% of its sales outside the European Union.

A collector’s collection

Objekto has created a collection of lasting successes and bestsellers.

Remaining apart from frenetic trends, the brand has always sought creations with strong identities, which mostly are not the work of designers but of architects, cabinetmakers, artists, graphic designers, or engineers. Creative spirits with a different perspective on objects, who conceive them to endure over time and for lasting use.

This legacy-oriented approach combines the poetry of the line with the quality of use and materials, all consummated in the creation of timeless archetypes: a universalism found in the manufacturer’s name itself, Objekto, which means “object” in Esperanto.

A careful and selective manufacturer

Objekto has worked for twenty years with the same network of artisans and European companies, allowing them to control each product down to the smallest detail.

Steel specifically cast to create exclusive diameters and dimensions, woven cotton, custom-tanned leather… each material is unique to Objekto, both in conception and finish, all directly supervised by the brand.

All materials and productions come 100% from Europe. Objekto focuses on quality, functionality, and comfort with a responsible, sustainable, and low environmental impact approach.

These standards far exceed those of any ordinary manufacturer, providing Objekto with unprecedented control and responsiveness in the production of its products.

Showroom

The company is established in Aix-en-Provence, facing the Sainte Victoire mountain, often painted by Paul Cezanne. It is in this area where Objekto found a 200-year-old stable and decided to restore it in a contemporary way while preserving all its old charm. We invite you to visit us.

PAULISTANO OUTDOOR WITH RECYCLED SUNBRELLA “HERITAGE” FABRICS

Objekto is proud to present an outdoor version of the Paulistano armchair, designed by the famous Brazilian architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha. The Paulistano outdoor is the result of the collaboration between Objekto and Sunbrella.

Objekto selected Sunbrella’s “Heritage” fabrics to produce the new outdoor cover. Heritage is made with 50% recycled acrylic fibers and offers the same performance for which Sunbrella fabrics are known: water-repellent, resistant to fading caused by prolonged UV exposure, and also resistant to stains, offering comfort and softness that make them as pleasant to the eye as to the touch.

The Paulistano outdoor Sunbrella is available with a white or black painted structure and a selection of 10 cover colors.

PAULISTANO ARMCHAIR

Since 2005, Objekto has been the exclusive global editor of Paulo Mendes da Rocha. Among other awards, he was distinguished with the Pritzker Prize in 2006 and the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2016.

In our catalog, you can discover the masterpiece of the Brazilian architect: the Paulistano armchair, designed in 1957 for the Club Athletico Paulistano of São Paulo.

The constructivist concept of the structure, formed by a single bent solid steel bar, and its cover provide this armchair with an aesthetic lightness and unparalleled comfort.

PAULISTANO O.C. OFFICE CHAIR

Currently, the Paulistano armchair is available in different versions: Paulistano / Paulistano Outdoor / Paulistano Office Chair / Paulistano chainmail. The Paulistano armchair is part of the permanent collection of MoMA in New York.

BIENAL STOOLS

Designed by the Brazilian Fernando Jaeger, these bar and counter stools bring a satisfying curve to a generously padded wide seat for lasting comfort.

ECLIPSE LAMPS

The Eclipse by Maurício Klabin is made from a single plastic band rolled onto itself; the structure can be manipulated to change the shape and orientation of the light. The metal arcs are equipped with small plastic pieces that allow the lamp to be held in various positions.

The Eclipse lamp is part of the permanent collection of MoMA in New York. The Eclipse lamp is now available in a floor version, 50% larger than the table version. This new version gives even more play to a fascinating and timeless creation.

TIPI. SIDE TABLES

Tipi reinterprets the traditional typology of the nomadic side table, refining its constituent elements. Its lightness and convenient handle allow you to carry it in your daily movements. The removable top tray is available in wood or marble. As a bedside table, coffee table, near a sofa, or on a terrace, Tipi looks good both in private homes and public spaces. It is subtle, precise, and light, specifically useful.

PEGLEV. ARMCHAIR AND ROCKING CHAIR

With simple and modern elegance, the Peglev armchair made of leather and solid wood is a creation of designer Michel Arnoult, one of the pioneers of knockdown furniture. Iconic, the Peglev is composed of simple shapes and curves in high-quality materials.

The full-grain vegetable leather pieces tensioned over a beautiful and sturdy solid wood structure give this armchair an iconic and singular silhouette.
