The campaign created by Odosdesign for Feria Hábitat València and also Textilhogar has been recognized with the ‘Silver’ award in the Graphic and Digital Design category at the gala of the Association of Designers of the Valencian Community (ADCV) Awards.
The jury recognized the innovation in a campaign that aims to represent the various products related to the habitat sector through their raw materials.
València, June 7, 2024.- The seventh edition of the Association of Designers of the Valencian Community (ADCV) Awards has awarded the campaign image created last year by the Valencian design studio Odosdesign for Feria Hábitat València, which was also adapted for the Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium fair.
At the awards ceremony held yesterday evening in Aldaia (València), the jury granted the Silver Award to the art direction of this campaign in the Graphic and Digital Design category, recognizing its innovative and disruptive nature.
The ‘skeleton’ of the furniture
In this regard, the campaign serves as a call to both manufacturers and visitors to “represent the various products related to the habitat sector through their raw materials, revealing the ‘skeleton’ hidden inside a sofa, a side table, or a lamp, emphasizing their essence.” With this image, Odosdesign placed “the furniture as the protagonist of the compositions, with a scenography based on simple and minimalist architectural structures with plain backgrounds, highlighting the primary materials that are the protagonists of our photographs.”
After the success of this new campaign image in 2023, which has now been recognized with the ADCV Award, both Hábitat and Textilhogar have continued with it for their next edition, to be held from September 30 to October 3 at Feria Valencia, alongside Espacio Cocina SICI.
VII ADCV Awards
The Association of Designers of the Valencian Community grants the ADCV Awards every two years, recognizing the best Valencian design. The main objectives of these recognitions are to distinguish excellence in the fields of graphic and digital design, product design, spaces, and other design areas, and to promote the development of activities linked to design, generating social and business wealth.
The trajectory of the awards supports their prestige as a reference event within the landscape of creative industries in the Valencian Community and highlights and promotes the use of design as a facilitator of business, social, and cultural innovation.
This year, in its seventh edition, the ADCV Awards recognized 78 works in the categories of ‘Graphic and Digital Design,’ ‘Product and Spaces,’ and ‘Other Design Areas,’ in addition to granting three honorary awards to designer Juan Nava for his ‘Professional Career,’ the furniture company Andreu World for ‘Innovation,’ and the Valencian Design Archive in the ‘Entities’ category.
